EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY.

The management of SHUWASA is looking for qualified, competent, dynamic and committed Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies:-

1. INTERNAL AUDITOR

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Managing Director and will be performing his/her duty according the international Auditing standards.

1.1    Qualifications:-

1. Holder of Degree in Finance or Accounting and who has CPA (T) or its equivalent and must be registered with NBAA as Authorized Auditor with 3 years working experience as an Internal Auditor in a reputable large-medium business organization
2. Working experience with audit firms at supervisory or managerial level will be an added advantage.
3. Knowledge of two or more accounting software.
4. Must be computer literacy most especially in one or more billing system.

1.2    Age limit

Not above 45 years.

2. STORE AND SUPPLIES TECHNICIAN.

The successful candidate will be reporting to Stores and Supplies Officer and will support business operation of the Authority through effective best procurement practices and inventory policies and procedures that ensures timely availability of goods and service and the stock is secured.

2.1    Qualifications:-

1.      Form IV/VI/Diploma in procurement/Logistics and must be registered as an authorized supplies officer/authorized stock verifier by PSPTB

2.      Candidate must possess three years working experience as a Supplies officer in a reputable large – medium business organization.

3.      Fluent in both English and Swahili languages.

2.2    Age limit

Not above 35 years

3. WATER PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN.

The holder of this position carries out operational functions in the water production unit in accordance with the production programme prepared by the water supply engineer. The outputs of this position are therefore reflected in the quality and quantity of water distributed by SHUWASA.

3.1  Qualifications

1.      Holder of form IV/VI with level III (Grade Test I) in water resources/Sanitary/Civil engineering from recognized Technical College. Candidate must be 2 years working experience in supervision of water production and distribution works.

2.      Experience in meter reading and leakage control.

3.      Fluent in both English and Swahili languages.

3.2    Age limit

Not above 35 years.
