2014 Commonwealth Scholarships for Developing Commonwealth Countries’ Students in UK.

UK Department for International Development (DFID) offers Commonwealth Scholarships for developing countries’ students for pursuing Master’s, PhD and split-site (PhD) degree level at UK Universities. Approximately 300 scholarships are awarded each year. The CSC invites around three times more nominations than scholarships available – therefore, nominated candidates are not guaranteed to get a scholarship. International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) is providing financial support to students through its two fund i.e. ISS Scholarship Fund for Excellent Students and ISS Hardship Fund. Both fund are open for international and dutch students for pursuing MA program in Development Studies. ISS Scholarship Fund is awarding a total of 20 scholarships covering 40% of the tuition fee while ISS Hardship Fund provides a fee discount of up to 30% of the tuition fee.
