ASSISTANT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Purpose of the Job
   To administer the operational systems so as to process accurate, timely and sufficient information.

Major Activities of the Job
(i)           Set-up and administer system for daily operations.
(ii)          Distribute returns to data entry operators.
(iii)         Assist in the preparation of reports (management and daily operations).
(iv)         Take backups of data files (computer systems).
(v)          Fill incident reports (system problems).
(vi)         Support users (use of computer hardware and application).
(vii)        Perform simple system maintenance.
(viii)       Attend to rejections from the system.
(ix)         Analyse and recommend on steps to maintain and improve systems
performance.
(x)          Supervise manual part of returns processing.
(xi)         Follow-up on computer stationery orders.
(xii)        Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Job Requirements
Qualification

  1. Advanced Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications and Electronics or Information and Communications Technology or Computer Science or Software Engineering or Systems Engineering or Electronics Engineering or its equivalent.
  2. Relevant Postgraduate Studies or a Masters Degree or its equivalent from a recognised Institution/University or CCNA/CCNP, Knowledge of LANs, WANs, MANs, Router configuration, VSATs, Switches, and Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) or its equivalent will be an added advantage.

Experience
The applicant should have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.

POSITION: BUSINESS ANALYST – WEB DEVELOPER               
 Major Activities of the Job
       i.                Conduct systems analysis;
      ii.                Specify and document user requirements for new systems;
     iii.                Design, develop and implement web applications including portals.
   iv.                Support and enhance the existing web applications;
    v.                Design and develop web interfaces for various systems in place;
   vi.                Responsible for administering web servers and web systems;
  vii.                 Monitor web servers and site performance on daily basis;
 viii.                Work with other developers in software development projects;
   ix.                Liaise and provide technical support to all users and stakeholders of TRA web-based systems;
    x.                Advise on overall strategy for sustainable implementation of the web solutions
   xi.                Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

          Minimum Job Requirements
Qualification

(iii)         Understanding of object oriented programming concepts and familiarity with oracle database administration, encrypting transmission over the internet and concepts of web and window services is a must.

(iv)         Ability to modify or customize web solutions developed using a variety of tools as well as ability to organise and manage multiple proprieties is a must.

     Experience

POSITION: BUSINESS ANALYST – QUALITY ASSURANCE
Major Activities of the Job
  1.  Prepare test cases and plans for testing business applications;
  2. Review and execute test plans for different phases of product life cycle;
  3. Participate in product design and specification process;
  4. Critically evaluate the results of testing processes to provide timely and accurate defect descriptions;
  5. Act as a key member of an agile team as the quality assurance representative;
  6. Develop and execute automated test cases with an understanding as to the results driven by said tests;
  7. Where applicable, execute manual test cases to verify software behaviour based on product requirements and functional specifications;
  8. Interact with developers and other analysts to understand product requirements
  9. Prepare and store data required for testing. Understanding of data-driven tests
  10. Develop and maintain regression tests and functions libraries
  11. Record defects and track from entry to resolution
  12. Develop and maintain testing documentation with test case descriptions, expected and actual specifications and results
  13. Assess application quality and release readiness prior to implementation;
  14. Coordinate all testing tasks and communicate effectively to get the tasks completed on time;
  15. Investigate and facilitate implementation of new tools and technology for the quality assurance team; and
  16.   Create product life cycle metrics to measure and track all aspects of product quality.

Minimum Job Requirements
Qualification

  2. Skills in Java or NET tools plus hands on experience with all testing and configuration Management tools is compulsory.

To maintain the corporate reputation of the Authority
2.     Major Activities of the Job
(i)           Review newspapers and provide any recommendations for action.

(iii)         Supervise the media relations and graphic designing activities of the department/TRA.

(vi)         Prepare speeches for management and other TRA senior staff for different occasions.

 Katika kuhakikisha kuwa Taifa stars inafuzu na kushiri fainali za kombe la Dunia huko Brazil, Wizara ya Habari,Vijana,Utamaduni na Michezo imeteua kamati ya Ushindi kama ifuatavyo:-

"Kama mnavyofahamu, hivi sasa Timu ya Taifa ya mpira wa Miguu kwa Wanaume (Taifa Stars) ipo kwenye michuano ya kufuzu kushiriki Fainali za Kombe la Dunia zitakazofanyika nchini Brazil mwaka 2014.
Katika Afrika, Tanzania (Taifa Stars) imepangwa kundi C kati ya makundi 10. Kundi C linajumuisha timu za Ivory Coast, Morocco, Gambia na Tanzania.
Kwa sasa katika kundi C, Taifa Stars inashika nafasi ya pili ikiwa na alama sita (6), nyuma ya Ivory Coast yenye alama saba (7), Morocco ina alama mbili (2) na Gambia ina alama moja(1).
Kwa mara nyingine Wizara ya Habari, Vijana, Utamaduni na Michezo inapenda kuwapongeza Taifa Stars, kwa kazi nzuri ambayo wameishaifanya ikiwemo ushindi wa Bao Tatu kwa Moja dhidi yaMorocco. Ili Tanzania tuweze kufuzu, Taifa Stars inatakiwa ishinde mechi zote tatu (3) na kuongoza kundi C na baadae iingie katika Timu kumi (10) bora na kisha zipatikane Timu tano (5) kutoka Afrika ambazo zitakuwa zimefuzu kwenda Brazil katika Fainali za Kombe la Dunia kwa mwaka 2014.  Tunaamini hili linawezekana.
Sasa kwa kuzingatia uzito wa jukumu lililo mbele yetu na kwa Taifa Stars kwa ujumla; Serikali imeunda Kamati ya Ushindi ya Taifa Stars.

Aidha nichukue fursa hii kutoa wito kwa Watanzania wote, kuiunga mkono Taifa Stars na Kamati ya Ushindi ya Taifa Stars kwa hali namalikatika kuhakikisha timu yetu inafuzu kucheza Fainali za Kombe la Dunia.

WIZARA YA AFYA KUTOA AJIRA 1,600

Waziri wa Nchi, Ofisi ya Rais, Menejimenti ya Utumishi wa Umma, Mh.Celina Kombani
 Jumla ya watumishi 1,600 wa kada ya afya, wanatarajia kuajiriwa katika kipindi cha mwaka wa fedha 2013/14 na 2014/15, bunge lilielezwa jana.
Ahadi hiyo ilitolewa na Waziri wa Nchi, Ofisi ya Rais, Menejimenti ya Utumishi wa Umma, Celina Kombani kuwa ajira hizo zinalenga kupunguza tatizo sugu la watumishi wa kada hiyo ambao wamekuwa wakilalamikiwa.
Akijibu swali la nyongeza jana lililoulizwa na Mbunge wa Lupa, Victor Mwambalaswa (CCM), Kombani alisema kuwa katika kipindi cha mwaka huu Serikali inatarajia kutoa ajira kwa waganga 5,000.
“Mwaka huu pekee tunaanza na waganga 5,000 ambao tayari tumeshapewa kibali cha kuajiri na kipaumbele kikubwa kitaelekezwa katika zahanaiti za vijijni lakini mwaka tutaajiri waganga 11,000, wengi wao kwenda vijijini badala ya kuwalundika mijini,” alisisitiza Kombani.
Awali, katika swali la msingi, Mendrad Kigola (Mufindi Kusini-CCM) alitaka kujua ni lini Serikali itamaliza ujenzi wa vituo vya afya ambavyo wananchi wamejitolea na kufikia hatua nzuri pamoja na kupelekea waganga.
Naibu Waziri Ofisi ya Waziri Mkuu, Tawala za Mikoa na Serikali za Mitaa, Aggrey Mwanri alijibu swali hilo akisema kuwa miradi mingi ya ujenzi wa vituo vya afya na zahanati kwa sehemu kubwa huibuliwa na wananchi, hivyo gharama za utekelezaji wa miradi hiyo hutoka kwa wananchi pia.
Mwanri alisema ujenzi wa vituo vya afya vya Mtwango, Mninga, Mgololo na Bumilayinga katika Jimbo la Mufindi, ni miradi ambayo iliibuliwa na wananchi wenyewe na kuwa inatekelezwa na wananchi wenyewe.
Hata hivyo, alisema kuwa Serikali itawaunga mkono wananchi hao kupitia Halmashauri ya Wilaya ya Mufindi kwa kadri fedha zinatakavyopatikana.
Hakuna shaka kwamba mpango kama huo utasaidia kupunguza tatizo la ajira ambalo linaonekana kusumbua Watanzania wengi.
Hali kadhalika kuajiriwa kwa watu hao wapatao 16,000 kutasaidia kuimarisha sekta hii muhimu ambayo inaonekana kuendelea kusuasua nchini hasa maeneo ya vijijini.

Wakati wa kufanya majumuisho na kutoa hoja,Waziri Mkuu alikuwa akijibu hoja mbali mbali zilizokuwa zimetolewa na Wabunge.

Wakati amemaliza kutoa hoja, Mbunge wa Ubungo CHADEMA Mh.John Mnyika aliomba mwongozo wa spika na aliporuhusiwa akaomba mwongozo kuwa Mh.Waziri Mkuu ametoa taarifa za uongo Kwanza alisema kuwa Waziri Mkuu ameliambia bunge kuwa Sheria ya kuunda mabaraza ya katiba katika ngazi ya kata ilipitishwa na bunge wakati sio kweli na pili kuwa Waziri mMkuu amesema kuwa CHADEMA hakikupeleka maoni yao ya uundwaji wa katiba mpya jambo alilolisema kuwa sio kweli na ukweli nikwamba maoni yalipelekwa na yeye mwenye wakati huo akiwa anakaimu nafasi ya Naibu katibu Mkuu.
