Ukrain kujibu mapigo

Wanajeshi wa Ukrain
Jeshi la Ukrain limeanza kujihami mashariki mwa nchi hiyo dhidi ya mashambulizi ya waasi wa Urusi kufuatia kutunguliwa kwa ndege ya Malaysia katika eneo hilo.
Msemaji wa serikali ya Ukrain Andriy Lysenko amesema jeshi la nchi hiyo lilidhamiria kulifunga eneo hilo ili kupisha uchunguzi wa watalaamu kuhusiana na chanzo cha kuanguka kwa ndege hiyo.
Ndege ya Malaysia iliyokuwa imebeba watu 300 iliangushwa katika eneo hilo lililo chini ya udhibiti wa waasi.
Waangalizi wa kimataifa wanasema mapigano hayo yataadhiri uchunguzi wa ajali hiyo ya ndege, mapigano makali yameripotiwa katika amaeneo yanayozunguka mji wa Horlivka na Shakhtarsk.

Kombora lalipua matenki ya mafuta - Libya

Vikosi vya zima moto vya Libya vinapambana kujaribu kuuzima moto baada ya kombora la roketi kulipua tanki la kuhifadhia mafuta wakati wa mapigano kati ya makundi mawili yanayohasimiana katika mji mkuu Tripoli. Tanki hilo ni miongoni mwa matanki yanayomilikiwa na Kampuni ya mafuta ya serikali ya Libya yenye lita milioni sita za mafuta.
Msemaji wa Kampuni hiyo Mohamed Al-Hariri amesema iwapo moto huo utasambaa kwenye matanki mengine ya karibu huenda ukasababisha madhara makubwa katika eneo lenye upana wa kilomita tano.
Serikali ya muda ya Libya imetaka ustishaji wa mapigano katika eneo hilo la maafa ili kuruhusu vikosi vya zima moto kufanya kazi yao bila kuingiliwa.

Community Health Worker - Learning Agenda Project (CHW-LAP)
MUHAS and Johns Hopkins University Collaborative Project
An application, comprised of a CV and cover letter, is required from individuals who have completed masters training (i.e., MPH, MSc, MA, etc.) for the position of Research Scientist on a collaborative research project, called the CHW-LAP.
We are particularly looking for someone with extensive experience in qualitative research methods (i.e., conducting interviews, and thematic data analysis). The candidate must be willing and able to travel extensively to various regions of Tanzania to complete aspects of the project, as required.

Any graduate of the MUHAS Masters Program, with field research experience, is eligible to apply.
The successful candidate will be employed initially for one year, with possible extension for up to three years.
Competitive remuneration plus field allowances will be paid.
