Victoria University of Wellington is offering Master’s [by thesis] scholarships for international students. Thirty scholarships are offered, consisting of a $15,000 stipend, plus domestic fees. Scholarships are available for international students to pursue research at masters level at Victoria university. Only those students enrolled solely for a 90 point thesis are eligible to apply. Application deadline is November 1, 2013.

Eligibility:
To encourage research at Masters level at Victoria university. Only those students enrolled solely for a 90 point thesis are eligible to apply. In some cases this will be Part 2 of a two-year Master’s degree and will usually have the course code 591. Students who are enrolled in Master’s degree programmes that have thesis or research components of less than 90 points, or who elect not to enrol for the solely by thesis option, but instead enrol in taught courses, internships, performance, portfolio, practicum, or other programme options, are eligible to apply for the Victoria Graduate Scholarships. Creative Writing candidates are eligible to apply for the Master’s [by thesis] Scholarship.

Scholarships for US and International Students at Boston University in USA.

Boston University offers Trustee Scholarships for US and International Students for pursuing undergraduate degree level in the USA. Every year, Boston University welcomes about 20 outstanding students to the Trustee Scholars Program. Many of our current Scholars had perfect 4.0 grade point average in high school, and typically ranked in the top 5–10% of their class. Students are nominated by secondary school principals and headmasters. A Trustee Scholarship covers full undergraduate tuition plus the University orientation and mandatory undergraduate student fees and is renewable for four years if certain criteria are met. The application deadline is December 1, 2013.

KATIBU Mkuu wa Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA), Dk. Willibrod Slaa, Alhamisi wiki hii anatarajiwa kuwasili mkoani Tanga kuzindua mabaraza ya Katiba ya chama hicho pamoja na kuhutubia mikutano ya hadhara.

Katibu wa CHADEMA Mkoa wa Tanga, Jonathan Bahweje, ilieleza alisema Dk. Slaa atawasili mkoani hapa Agosti 15 na kufanya mikutano ya hadhara na siku inayofuata atakuwa na kazi ya kukusanya maoni ya wananchi kuhusu Katiba mpya.

Akizungumza na waandishi wa habari, Bahweje alisema Dk. Slaa akitumia helikopta atafanya mikutano ya hadhara katika wilaya za Lushoto, Handeni, Korogwe, Muheza na Tanga Jiji.

“Katibu mkuu atawasili Lushoto na kufanya mkutano wa hadhara uwanja wa RRM saa mbili asubuhi, Handeni mjini saa 5.30 asubuhi, Korogwe Mazoezi saa 7.30 nchana, Muheza saa 9.30 uwanja wa CHADEMA Square na mkutano wa mwisho Tanga Jiji saa 11. 40 jioni,” alisema Bahweje.

Katibu huyo alitoa wito kwa wananchi kuhudhuria mikutano hiyo katika maeneo hayo na kumsikiliza ili kupata misingi halisi ya mikutano hiyo.

Sambamba na hayo, alieleza chama hicho ngazi ya mkoa kinaendelea na mikutano ya hadhara na ya ndani kwa kuanzia wilaya ya Korogwe kwa lengo la kuelezea mkakati wa CHADEMA.

Alisema mikutano hiyo inafanyika katika vijiji vya Masange, Mngwasa na Lutindi vya kata ya Lutindi na kuendelea katika kata ya Bungu, jimbo la Korogwe vijijini.
