funded Hessnatur Scholarships for the International Masters Programme –
Sustainability in Fashion. Scholarships are provided in the field of
fashion. Scholarships will cover half of the tuition to complete the
innovative one-year English taught course. International Students can

Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), Singapore offers merit scholarship for international students. These scholarships are open to new students for pursuing a pre degree, degree or master’s degree programme at five renowned university partners from the United Kingdom, Australia and France. Each scholarship is tenable only for the academic years for which it is awarded and will cover the subsidised portion of the tuition fee. The training will be conducted in two separate classes, morning and evening classes of 6 weeks (272 hours) duration each.

Scholarships - Victoria Doctoral Scholarships New Zealand, 2014
Victoria University of Wellington is offering up to 35 doctoral scholarships for the year 2014. Scholarships are open to New Zealand and international students in any discipline. The award covers $23,500 stipend annually + tuition fees. These Scholarships are intended to encourage and support Doctoral study (PhD) at Victoria University of Wellington. As part of the requirements of this Scholarship, the recipient is expected to contribute 150 hours per annum to the academic life of the School in which they undertake study. MSc SCHOLARSHIP AT SOKOINE UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE (SUA)

MSc scholarship at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA)
Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) calls for application for a two year full-time MSc (Forestry) Scholarship attainable at SUA in 2013/14 academic year. The scholarship is fully funded by SUA and the successful candidate will specifically research on Cypress aphid (Cinara cupressivora) problems in Tanzania.
Eligible candidate
The applicants must hold BSc (For) degree (upper second or first class) from SUA or any other University recognized by SUA and MUST have an admission for MSc (For) at SUA for 2013/14 academic year. In addition, applicants with excellent grades (B+ or A) in Forest protection and Silviculture courses will have an added advantage.
Conditions and modalities
The scholarship covers tuition fee, accommodation, books, research and allowances as provided in the SUA Regulations and Guidelines for Higher Degrees.
When and how to apply
Applications to be submitted directly to the Dean, Faculty of Forestry and
Nature Conservation, Sokoine University of Agriculture, P.O. Box 3009, Morogoro, Tanzania.
Deadline for application: 30th August, 2013 and that late applications will not be considered.
The application must be submitted with the applicants CV and relevant copies of academic certificates. SUA will inform the successful applicant of the outcome of the award before mid- September 2013. Applicants must also fill application forms for higher degrees.

The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) wishes to inform all stakeholders and the general public that, the 8th exhibitions on Higher Education, Science and Technology will be held from 22nd-24th May 2013. These exhibitions are jointly organized by the TCU, the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MoEVT), Higher Education Institutions, as well as Regulatory, Professional and Research Bodies in and outside Tanzania.
Theme: "Building a knowledgeable, accountable and progressive society through Higher Education, Science and Technology"
Exhibitions’ Vision:
To become the leading national and regional state of the art exhibitions that promotes participation, enhances collaboration, builds up partnerships between higher education institutions and the Industry as well as developing mutual understanding on the issues that govern the quality of Higher education in the Country for the benefit of all humanity.
Exhibitions’ Mission:
To promote equity and collaboration, create partnerships and networks amongst the exhibitors and create linkages between higher education institutions, industry, research and development institutions and the market for national, regional and global socioeconomic development.
The Objectives of the Exhibitions:
o Creation of awareness among the general public about the development of Higher Education and Research Institutions and Professional Bodies in the country;
o Providing an opportunity to Higher Education Institutions to publicize their core functions and activities in the areas of teaching, research, consultancy as well as their current performance, potentials and future prospects;
o Providing a platform for Higher Learning and Research Institutions as well as Local and International Educational Business Companies to exchange ideas and experiences related to their core functions thereby triggering competition that will result in provision of quality higher education and research output;
o Enable the public and prospective applicants for admission into Higher Education Institutions within and outside Tanzania for the year 2013/2014 to interact with Universities, Regulatory Bodies and Research Institutions in order for them to make an informed choice;
o Sensitize the public on the application process through the Central Admission System (CAS).

Exhibitors are Higher Learning and Research Institutions, Quality Assurance Regulatory Bodies and Foreign Universities from within and outside the East Africa Region. Local and International Educational Business companies are also invited to participate.
Exhibitions Venue:
The 8th exhibitions on Higher Education Science and Technology will take place at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, Dar es Salaam.
Duration:
The exhibitions will be open at 09.00 hours and close at 18.00 hours for three days from 22nd-24th May 2013.
Expected Outcome:
The exhibitions will enable the Government, employers and the general public to realize the opportunities available in Higher Education sector and in Educational Business Companies within and outside Tanzania and appreciate the critical roles they play in achieving national development goals.
