Taarifa iliyotolewa na Msemaji wa Jeshi la Polisi nchini, Mwarakibu Mwandamizi Advera Senso, imesema mabadiliko hayo ni pamoja na aliyekuwa Kamanda wa Polisi Mkoa wa Mtwara Kamishina Msaidizi wa Polisi (ACP) Linus Sinzumwa ambaye amehamishiwa Makao Makuu ya Polisi Idara ya Upelelezi na nafasi yake inachukuliwa na Kamishina Msaidizi Mwandamizi wa Polisi (SACP) Zelothe Stephen kutoka Makao Makuu ya Polisi.
Kwa mujibu wa taarifa hiyo, aliyekuwa Kamanda wa Polisi Viwanda vya ndege Kamishina Msaidizi (ACP) Deusdedit Kato amehamishiwa Makao Makuu ya Polisi na nafasi hiyo inachukuliwa na Kamishina Msaidizi wa Polisi (ACP) Selemani Hamisi kutoka Makao Makuu Idara ya Upelelezi.
Wengine ni Mrakibu Mwandamizi wa Polisi (SSP) Hamad Hamad anayeenda kuwa Mkuu wa Upelelezi Viwanja vya ndege ambapo hapo awali nafasi hiyo ilikuwa inashikiliwa na David Mwafwimbo aliyehamishiwa mkoani Lindi kuwa Mkuu wa Polisi wa Wilaya ya Lindi (OCD).

2014 Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarships in Australia.
Griffith University offers International Postgraduate Research
Scholarships in Australia. Applicants must have completed, or expect to
complete, a Bachelors degree with honours
equivalent to first class and be intending to enroll full-time in an
approved doctoral or research masters program. The GUIPRS may be held
for up to two years for a research masters program and up to three years
for a doctoral program. A six month extension may be granted to
doctoral students in certain circumstances. The application deadline
is 7 October.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the Griffith University.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate research degree programmes (doctoral and research master) at Griffith University.

2013 Sri Lankan Government Presidential Scholarships for Foreign Students, Sri Lanka.
Each year, Government of Sri Lanka offers 100 scholarships for
foreign students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree
commencing in December 2013 in Sri Lanka. Scholarships are open for
courses of studies other than Medical & Dental Sciences. Every
student is required to undergo an HIV/AIDS test within a month after
arrival. Candidates should apply for this scholarship with the
recommendation of the government scholarship nominating agency
(Ministry/Institution) of the respective country till 15.10. 2013.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are open for courses of studies other than Medical & Dental Sciences. Candidates can request for more than one course for securing chances to win a scholarship identifying their preferences as places are limited in some fields.

Undergraduate Applicants:
-Candidates with impressive result of an examination deemed equivalent to G.C.E. (Advance Level) Examination of Sri Lanka are eligible to apply for admission to universities in Sri Lanka. Applicants are advised to attach to their applications the original letter obtained from the Examinations Board concerned, to prove that their educational qualifications are equivalent to the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination conducted in Sri Lanka or the G.C.E. A/L examination of University of London or qualifications required for admission to a university in their own country to follow an undergraduate course of study leading to a Bachelor degree. Applicants should ensure that all required passes should be obtained in one and the same setting under a recognized Board of Examination.
-Age: Be less than 25 years of age on 15.10.2013

- Applicants should possess a first degree from a recognized university with good academic merit to enroll a masters degree and for PhD studies, a Master/MPhil degree is required in addition to the first degree.

-Applicants must provide evidence of proficiency in English, i.e. a minimum score of 525 on TOEFL or 6.0 on IELTS for undergraduate studies. For Masters or PhD, the required marks should be a minimum score of 550 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on IELTS.
