Mishahara ya Viongozi wa Umma lazima iwe wazi kwa umma. 

Sheria za Mishahara ziweke wazi kabisa kuwa mishahara hii itakuwa wazi na itakatwa kodi. Juzi Mpanda nimewaambia wananchi Mshahara wa Waziri Mkuu wa Tanzania kwa mwezi. 

Nikiwa Igunga mnamo tarehe 13 Oktoba tutawaambia wananchi mshahara wa Rais na Makamu wa Rais.

 Iwapo Rais wa marekani mshahara wake na mapato yake ni wazi na unakatwa kodi, iweje Rais wa nchi ndogo kama Tanzania. Wameifungia Mwananchi kwa kutaja viwango vya mishahara ya watumishi wa Umma. Wamfungie Mbunge kama wanaweza.

FSMP Postdoctoral Programs for French and International Applicants in France, 2014/15.

The Foundation Mathematical Sciences of Paris (FSMP) is inviting applications for postdoctoral programs in mathematics and computer science at the research laboratories affiliated to the Foundation in France. These positions are for one or two year and are to be filled as from 1st October 2014. Positions are open to holders of a doctorate in mathematics or computer science, obtained in France or in a foreign country before October 1st, 2014 and defended after October, 1st 2009. Each postdoctoral fellow will receive a net salary of € 2,500.00 per month and thus benefited from health insurance and social coverage. The application deadline is December 1, 2013.
Study Subject (s): Positions are available in the field of mathematics and computer science. Moreover, an application of one year is dedicated to the project Instabilities in hydrodynamics. Applications to the postdoctoral program hydrodynamical instabilities are specific to the “Emergence(s)” project.
Course Level: Positions are open for postdoctoral program at the research laboratories affiliated to the Foundation in France.

Eligibility: Positions are open to holders of a doctorate in mathematics or computer science, obtained in France or in a foreign country before October 1st, 2014 and defended after October, 1st 2009 (October 1st 2008 in case of maternity leave). Those who defended their doctorate in one of the affiliated laboratories cannot apply. Offers are not theme-based, and all mathematical disciplines are welcome.

Matumaini ya Chanjo ya Malaria ni 2015.

Kampuni ya kutengeza madawa ya GlaxoSmithKline inataka kuruhusiwa kisheria kuidhinisha chanjo ya kwanza ya Malalaria ikisema kuwa imeweza kupunguza vifo vya Malaria miongoni mwa watoto barani Afrika.

Wataalamu wanasema kuwa wana matumaini kuhusu mafanikio ya chanjo hiyo ya kwanza ya Malaria duniani baada ya kufanyiwa majaribio.
Malaria ni ugonjwa unaosababishwa na Mbu na ambao huwaua maelfu ya watu duniani kila mwaka.
Wanasayansi wanasema kuwa chanjo inayofaa ndio njia ya pekee kumaliza ugonjwa wa Malaria.
Chanjo hiyo inayojulikana kama RTS,S iligunduliwa kuwa iliweza kupunguza idadi ya vifo vya Malaria miongoni mwa watoto wadogo wakati wa majiribio na pia iliweza kupunguza vifo miongoni mwa watoto wachanga kwa 25% .
Kampuni ya GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) inatengeza chanjo hiyo kwa usaidizi wa wakfu wa Bill na Melinda Gates.
Majaribio ya chanjo yenyewe yalifanyiwa barani Afrika ambako iliwahusisha watoto 15,500 kutoka nchi saba.
Matokeo yaliwasilishwa kwenye mkutano wa matibabu uliofanyika mjini Durban, Afrika Kusini.
Kampuni ya GlaxoSmithKline sasa inataka kisheria iweze kuruhusiwa kuanza kuuza chanjo hiyo ambayo imekuwa ikitengezwa kwa miongo mitatu.
Kwa mujibu wa kampuini hiyo, inataka shirika la afya duniani kuweza kuidhinisha matumizi ya RTS,S angalau kuanzia mwaka 2015 ikiwa wadhibiti wa madawa EMA wanaweza kuwapa leseni ya kuanza kuuza chanjo hiyo.
Kulingana na utafiti uliofanyiwa watoto waliopewa chanjo hiyo, ulionyesha kuwa miezi 18 baada ya kupewa chanjo watoto waliona miezi mitano hadi 17 waliweza kukingwa dhidi ya ugonjwa huo kwa 46% .Lakini watoto waliokuwa kati ya wiki 12 wakati huo waliweza kukingwa tu kwa asilimia 27.
Msemaji wa kampuni ya GSK, aliambia shirika la habari la AFP kuwa kampuni itawasilisha ombi lake chini ya mkakati wa kuziwezesha nchi maskini kuweza kupata dawa.
