ANNOUNCES

The launch of a collaborative Master of Research and Public Policy (MRPP) degree programme to be offered by twelve African universities under the auspices of the Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR), starting from 2014/2015 Academic Year.
 The Programme is designed to produce

1. High caliber researchers for universities, think tanks, government and civil society organizations;
2. Competent public policy analysts for government, research institutions and civil society organizations.  Graduates will form a unique cadre of professionals able to work in a wide variety of settings, including but not limited to government institutions, regional and international organizations and media.

 This will be the first such programme to be offered in Sub-Saharan African universities.
PROGRAMME DURATION
The programme will be run over two calendar years (four semesters) with two semesters devoted to classroom, professional development and field experiential learning, and the third and fourth dedicated mainly to preparation of research paper.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission into MRPP programme will require the applicant to have a minimum of a Bachelors degree (or its equivalent) in any discipline at lower second class level, from a recognized university.  Candidates with the above qualifications and working experience in research and public policy related fields will be given preference.

 The MMed has been achieved in the last four years (not before 1999),

Mwanaharakati mwanamke aliyekuwa akiongoza maandamano nchini Nigeria kushinikiza serikali ya nchi hiyo kuwaokoa wasichana 200 waliotekwa hivi karibuni ametiwa mbaroni na polisi kwa amri ya mke wa Rais wa nchi hiyo.

Naomi Mutah Nyadar alikuwa miongoni wanawake waliohudhuria mkutano ulioitishwa na ma mke wa rais Patience Jonathan na baadae mwanaharakati huyo alipelekwa kituo cha polisi habari zinasema.

Mama Mutah mwakilishi wa jamii ya Chibok eneo wasichana hao walipotekwa wakiwa shuleni zaidi wiki mbili zilizopita, wiki iliyopita aliandaa maandamano katika mji mkuu wa Abuja.

Waandamanaji wengi wakiwa ni Wanaigeria wanaona serikali haijafanya vya kutosha kuwatafuta wasichana hao waliotekwa wanaodhaniwa kuwa ni kundi la kiislam la Boko Haram.

Hadi sasa Boko haram hawajasema lolote kuhusu tuhuma hizo.

Wasichana wanne walio mbele ambao ni miongoni mwa waliotekwa na kufanikiwa kutoroka.
